Fave spinoff games

What Pokémon spinoffs are your faves, do you like & have a soft spot for? No, I'm not making a poll out of this one. All the N64 ones would probably qualify as guilty pleasures for me but my favourites are the Mystery Dungeon games, if I haven't made that obvious from my main emoticon source.

I think the only spinoff game I've played extensively is the Trading Card Game one for Gameboy Color.

So that one, I guess.

PMD I guess, since it's the only one I've finished (unfortunately it wasn't the best one aka explorers of sky)

Pokemon ranger wasn't too bad either (ofc I haven't finished that) and I intend to try colosseum/xd again.

I only played about 5 minutes of Ranger on an emulator but I don't know how to feel about it, it might be easier on an actual DS I guess

Yeah the second MD isn't anywhere near as good as the first. I'm still butthurt you can't evolve in the second game for no fucking reason.

The story for it felt like you weren't the main character too. Like just some mook being sent out by the wigglytuff. much preferred the first one

Yeah, especially near the beginning of the game.

Have you tried Super Mystery Dungeon? I know the other 3ds MD was garbage but a lot of people were hopeful for Super but I haven't been able to afford it
